Trademarks

Names such as Intel, MCS-4, 4004, 4001, 4002, and 4003 refer to historical hardware and may be trademarks of Intel Corporation or related entities. Quadium Workbench is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by Intel. Those names are used nominatively for historical accuracy and to describe what the software simulates. Quadium claims no ownership of Intel’s marks.

Software and documentation

Quadium 4004 Workbench, its user interface, manuals hosted on this site, and QuadBasic sample programs supplied with the product are original works by the publisher. QuadBasic samples transpile to 4004 assembly; they are not copies of third-party source code.

The product does not include third-party ROM dumps, Intel confidential or internal documentation, or Intel datasheets or manuals as bundled files. Intel documentation consulted during development is not reproduced or distributed with the software or on this website.

Binary images executed in the simulator are produced from your own projects inside the workbench or are files you supply. You are responsible for the rights to any such files.

Warranty

The software is provided for educational and hobby use, as-is, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Non-waivable statutory rights still apply where the law requires.
